The Neurologist, your Primary Care Physician and the Neuroscience
team develop treatment modalities and an individualized plan of care.
Having a comprehensive Neuroscience Program in your backyard assures
that the children and adults in Central New Jersey and Bucks County
receive the best care around.
To best serve the needs of our patients, collaboration
with community-based providers of care is an important part of the
St. Francis Neuromuscular Program. The Program brings together a
wide range of skilled providers, both hospital-based and community-based,
to serve the special needs of each individual patient.
A team of health professionals work with each patient in the program
to provide medical care and to arrange for any support services a
patient may need while undergoing treatment for neuromuscular disorders
at St. Francis Medical Center.
Patients can be referred to the Neuromuscular Program by
physicians, nurses, community agencies, family members and through
self-referral.
